my dandelion quilt workshop - 2 days
Level – Beginner to Advanced
This workshop is based on learning how to complete machine applique using blanket stitch.
Sewing Machine in good working order and could do machine blanket stitch would be a bonus + My Dandelion Wish Quilt Pattern
On the first day students will cut and piece the background, learning about, cutting fabric, types of thread, needles and accurate 1/4” piecing. Then we will start on the fusible applique process going through to the second day. Learning how to use large appliqué pieces, setting out your design, fusing and then sewing the pieces to the background. Students may need to compete homework after day 1 to get the most out of the class.
NOTE: a variation of this class can be completed over one day but pre course home work would entail the completion of the background as per the pattern.
my flower bloom quilt or my damask quilt workshop - 2 days
Level – Beginner to Advanced
This workshop is based on learning how to complete faux trapunto using raw edge free motion quilting and faux trapunto.
Sewing Machine capable of lowering its feed dogs and can free motion quilt + choose either My Flower Bloom Quilt Pattern or My Damask Quilt Pattern.
On the first day students will cut and piece the background, learning about, making templates, cutting fabric, types of thread, needles and accurate 1/4” piecing. Then we will start on the faux trapunto fusible applique process going through to the second day. Learning how to use large appliqué pieces, setting out your design, fusing and how to raw edge machine appliqué and faux trapunto. Students may need to compete homework after day 1 to get the most out of the class.

my mandala quilt or my cog quilt workshop - 2 days

Sewing Machine capable of lowering its feed dogs and can free motion quilt + choose either My Mandala Quilt Pattern or My Cog Quilt Pattern.
On the first day students will cut and piece the background, learning about, making templates, cutting fabric, types of thread, needles and accurate 1/4” piecing. Then we will start on the fusible applique process going through to the second day. Sewing Machine capable of lowering its feed dogs + My Machine Applique Booklet
Introducing new skills and techniques to the sewer or brushing up on forgotten skills. Looking at fusible machine applique, using different stitches on your machine including using zig zag, blanket stitch and decorative stitches. Finally how to successfully complete raw edge free motion applique.
Learn about sewing machine setup, thread options, the types of fabrics and the best needles to use for appliqué and more. Includes a free cushion pattern to practice your new skills.

· If you would like to book a workshop please contact Janeene at passionatelysewn@gmail.com
· I have no minimum numbers of students per class, and I have a flat day fee… Maximum students would be 10 per class. I really like to make sure that each student gets enough “me” time..
· Classes run typically from 9am to 3pm or 10am to 4pm with a 30mins – 45mins lunch break.
· On confirmation of workshop, I will email you class requirements and what products that I use and promote during the workshop. Each one is extremely important, so if you are unsure about a product, where to source it, or if you need it, please feel free to email me.
· If you live within 2 hours of my home (Batemans Bay, NSW) I do not charge travel fees.. Just lunch would be great. · Outside that distance, travel costs to be paid by the shop, including accommodation if needed.
